Whether you live locally or are staying nearby at Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort, my aim is simply to create a space where you feel safe, comforted, and completely at ease. My gorgeous garden salon is the perfect place to pause, unwind, and relax. You’ll leave feeling light, restored, and content.
A Calm Escape
I’m Laura, and I began my journey in 2012, training and working within a five star spa environment where I fell in love with the world of luxury treatments, exceptional products, and the highest standards of care.
My work has been recognised at an industry level, including 1st place at the London Massage Championship in 2023.
From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to create something that offered more than just a treatment
- an experience.
After running my own treatment room for five years, I went on to open a multi award-winning salon, which I continue to own today. Baobab was created from a desire to return to a more personal way of working, offering one-to-one treatments in a calm, luxurious space, using some of the world’s finest products.
During a time in my life when I felt overwhelmed, I travelled to Victoria Falls in Africa. Standing beneath one of the world’s largest baobab trees, I experienced an overwhelming sense of calm and contentment. I felt light, free, and completely at ease,and in that moment, Baobab was born. That feeling is at the heart of everything I create.
